MARQUETTE — Northern Michigan University Hockey Coach Walt Kyle will not be on the road with the team this weekend.
Kyle was placed on administrative leave Monday. In response to why Kyle is on administrative leave says, NMU Athletic Director Forrest Karr said, “It’s the university’s standard practice not to comment on personnel issues.”
The NMU Hockey team is on the road playing Penn State. Assistant Coaches Rob Lehtinen and John Kyle will be co-coaching the Wildcats in the weekend series in State College, Pennsylvania.
