Both the Nittany Lion specialty squads entered the week with top ten rankings. PSU is 5 for 24 in the power play which brings them in at 20.8% for 10th in the country. Notre Dame, our opponent this upcoming weekend comes in at 7th.

Also, PSU remains one of just three teams, Rennselaer and Bemidji State being the other two, who have a perfect 100% penalty kill record.

Both PSU and Rennselaer have two short handed goals (just one behind Bentley’s three), so they are both plus two in special team scoring which leads the country.
