Post-Gazette.com – There are some legendary programs in college hockey. Schools such as Minnesota and Boston College, North Dakota and Wisconsin. Robert Morris and Penn State aren’t on the list. Not even the unabridged version. The Colonials didn’t begin playing Division I hockey until 2004; the Nittany Lions are in just their fourth season at that level. But what those programs lack in history, they just might make up for in potential. Robert Morris was 8-3-3 — and scoring a Division I-best 4.43 goals per game — before facing Canisius Saturday night; Penn State entered the weekend 10-2-3 and ranked 16th in Division I.
