STATE COLLEGE — There is still no definitive answer from the Penn State hockey program as to whether its season-opening showdown with Army will be effected by the continuing shutdown of the U.S. government, but the Nittany Lions don’t appear overly concerned.
Head coach Guy Gadowsky made clear Tuesday afternoon that his program will be prepared to face whomever shows up at 8:10 p.m. to the visitors bench Friday. In fact, PSU hasn’t even watched film on the Black Knights yet.
