STATE COLLEGE – Guy Gadowsky wasn’t interested in talking about moral victories Friday night after his Penn State men’s hockey team dropped its second game in as many nights to UMass Lowell at Pegula Ice Arena.
The latest setback, a 3-2 loss before another sold-out crowd of 6,158, was a definite improvement from Thursday night’s 4-0 defeat. And it’s that incremental progress against a team that played for the NCAA championship last season that Gadowsky chose to focus on.
