It was a rough weekend for Penn State after seeing their eight game unbeaten streak snapped by Michigan State and scoring a combined two goals over the weekend as the Nittany Lions (15-9-4, 7-4-1-0 Big Ten) were swept by the Spartans (12-12-2, 6-4-2-2 Big Ten). Friday, Penn State was shut out for the first time since last January in a 3-0 loss and Saturday, the Nittany Lions hit the twine twice but couldn’t pull out a comeback in their 3-2 defeat.
