Chelsea Laden (Lakeville, Minnesota) also continued her stellar performance to start the season by recording her second straight shutout and 11th of her career. The Bobcats’ netminder saw a little more action against Penn State recording 10 saves in the shutout, just one more than the nine against UConn the week before. In total the Bobcats recorded 34 shots in the victory compared to just 10 for the Nittany Lions, and held a 26-5 advantage in the final two periods of play.
