UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Freshman forward David Goodwin’s (Des Peres, Mo.) third-period strike brought the Nittany Lions to within a goal, but the Penn State men’s hockey team fell to No. 13/16 UMass Lowell, 3-2, at Pegula Ice Arena Friday night. The Nittany Lions fell to 3-5-1 with the setback, while UMass Lowell improved to 8-4-0.
