ANN ARBOR, Mich. — The University of Michigan ice hockey team allowed three goals in the first period and fell, 3-2, to Penn State on Friday night (Nov. 21) inside Yost Ice Arena. Sophomores Max Shuart and Michael Downing scored for the Wolverines, who outshot the Nittany Lions by a count of 40-28.
