Thursday night’s season home opener at Pegula Ice Arena was not like any other as the Nittany Lions unveiled not only one, but two banners for Penn State’s mens hockey team for the first time in the history of the program. Penn State’s offense shone as they battled American International College (0-5-1) after being on the road for the past two weeks. “We have to recalibrate things a little bit defensively,” Head coach, Guy Gadowsky said after the game. “All-in-all, very happy to be back, happy to get a win.”
