Aside from a certain mystery about exactly which team Penn State would be facing off against on opening night, the biggest question of the week leading up to the season’s commencement was that of who would start in goal.
At around 6 p.m. on Friday evening, it was announced that Matthew Skoff, the sophomore who had a .921 save percentage in 2012-13, would get the nod from Coach Guy Gadowsky.
