Penn State is able to take on Army, but games with the Air Force Academy are in jeopardy.
After Penn State opens its season at home with Army on Oct. 11, the Nittany Lions travel to Colorado Springs, Co. to take on the Academy on Oct. 18 and 19.
But according to a release, besides the Navy-Air Force football game this weekend, Air Force has stopped all athletic competitions until "further notice." All of this comes due to the government shutdown issued earlier this week.
