Now that the most monumental Penn State hockey game of all time is in the history books, the Nittany Lions are relieved to settle into a normal routine.
Coach Guy Gadowsky said he was often lost in the atmosphere of Pegula Ice Arena during Friday night’s game and he could not truly find a normal rhythm until Tuesday morning at a coaches’ meeting.
“This morning felt like routine,” Gadowsky said after practice Tuesday. “It is nice to get [the opener] out of the way and to focus a little bit more on hockey.”
