Coach Guy Gadowsky didn’t really have much to say on a certain compound word.

He said it was something to ask the players.

“We are obviously the underdog,” redshirt junior Nate Jensen said, “but I think we are going to surprise a lot of teams.”

The self-proclaimed underdogs have something to prove, and they will do it with a tough schedule as half of the Nittany Lions’ 2013-2014 slate features teams ranked in the USCHO.com or USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine’s preseason polls.
