The Nittany Lions were defeated by the Spartans 3-2. The Spartans shut out the conferences second-best offense Friday night before beating the Nittany Lions 3-2 the following night. Junior goaltender Jake Hildebrand stopped 68 of 70 shots on the weekend, including all 28 in Fridays 3-0 win at Munn Ice Arena.
