PENN STATE 4, WISCONSIN 1: In its second year as a varsity program, Penn State is atop the Big Ten standingsat least temporarily. The Nittany Lions completed a sweep of Wisconsin on Saturday in State College, Pa., and moved one point ahead of Michigan in the Big Ten standings. The Wolverines played later Saturday against Michigan State in the Hockey City Classic in Chicago. That game started late because of warm weather.
