Minnesota was picked as the hockey team to beat in the Big Ten in voting by the coaches in a poll released Wednesday during media day. The Gophers, the regular season champions during the inaugural season, was picked first with Michigan second, followed by Wisconsin, Ohio State, Michigan State and Penn State.
