HVNote: Ben Jones had a bit of a mind fart when he wrote his column today. Specifically, this “With the new Big Ten Tournament format allowing higher seeded teams to host on campus, a Top 3 finish in the conference means playing in front of your own fans.”
Top seed (almost assuredly Notre Dame) gets a bye. It’t the next three teams that get to host a three game series on-campus for the first round. So it’s important to finish fourth (or better) not third.
