If you looked at the box score, you would think the Nittany Lions and Vermont played the exact same game that they played earlier in the year on January 19.
Penn State jumped out to a 2-0 lead. Taylor Holstrom scored the game’s first goal. A goal went under review.Vermont went 1-6 on the power play, and the game ran about two and a half hours.
But the second installment of the College Hockey Faceoff between these two teams ended differently last Saturday, as Vermont defeated Penn State 5-2 at the Wells Fargo Center.
